  • Parking Decals - for ALL Vehicles (including bicycles) - available at the office
  • Remote Gate Control - available at office ($40.00 each, refundable)
  • DOM Security Key - available at office (deposit is $100.00)

  • Elevator Problem - call Concièrge...if you are in an elevator, the phone will dial automatically!
  • Ocean Lounge - arrangements and requirements are to be made in advance and include a $250.00 deposit, Call the Management Office at (954) 561-0990.
  • Interior Bug Control - “Complete Pest Control” - Service on Tuesday, once a month. No charge to the unit owner. Any problems? Call Matt: (954) 786-0146.
  • Cable TV - Comcast Cable, basic services included in maintenance. Problems? Call: 1 (800) 568-1212 or access online customer support. To see the basic cable channel lineup, Click Here.
  • Move-In - requires a refundable $150 damage deposit; contact the Management Office.
  • Accountant - “Goldman, Juda & Martin P.A.”, for info regarding your maintenance charges call the management office.

  • Car Wash - Designated areas in the lower garage.

Construction Information

We are embarking on a substantial concrete restoration project to beautify and extend the life of our homes and investment. While any construction project tends to disrupt the normal enjoyment of the premises, we intend to make every effort to diminish the inconvenience to the extent possible. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

  • The Contractor:
    Click Here to to access Structural Preservation Systems web site Our contractor, Structural Preservation Systems (SPS), has excellent references, impeccable safety standards and a verified reputation for accomplishing quality construction while operating under a stringent schedule. A Project Manager oversees the entire effort, contending with any unforeseen obstacle before it results in additional expenses or delays. A highly experienced Job Superintendent is on site every day, coordinating the various construction disciplines, scheduling inspections and expediting any issues experienced by company workers or subcontractors. SPS has successfully completed a litany of projects throughout South Florida, many on Galt Ocean Drive!

  • Swimming Pool:
    During the segment of construction that addresses rehabilitating structures on the south tower wall of Playa del Mar, the swimming pool and access to the beach will have to be curtailed to insure the safety of our residents. Provisions have been made for our residents to utilize the pool and beach access of our next-door neighbor to the south, Regency Tower. A control system has been instituted that permits our residents continued access to a secure pool and the beach without disrupting Regency Tower's security. This control system has recently been successfully used by our neighbors undergoing similar construction restrictions. Simply call security to arrange beach and pool visits. Stay tuned...

  • Parking:
    When construction restricts access to our parking facilities to the extent that it cannot be managed internally, arrangements will be negotiated to utilize other local parking areas. Again, Stay Tuned...

  • Beware...and Stand Clear:
    Please do not enter construction areas that the contractor has indicated as restricted. Not only will that place you in harm’s way, it will increase the contractor’s (and our) insurance expense, unnecessarily increasing the cost of the project...for everyone! Also, avoid conversing with the workpersons; distracting them will extend the construction timetable. If you have questions about the construction, please address them to the office. Main entrance:

The stucco repairs in the main entrance have been completed.

North Side of the Building update:

STACKS 17 to 10:

  • Stack 17: Punch out; Removal of Gamma Climber
  • Stack 16: Decorative coating first floor; Railing install; Punch out
  • Stack 15: Decorative coating first floor; Railing install; Punch out
  • Stack 14: Decorative coating first floor; Railing install; Punch out
  • Stack 12: Decorative coating first floor; Railing install; Punch out
  • Stack 12a: Decorative coating first floor; Railing install; Punch out

We suffered some delays this week due to rain.

We removed the topping slab and exposed the expansion joint areas.

The expansion joint repairs are ongoing.

Catwalks:

The decorative coating installation is completed. The punch out of the stucco wall is completed as well.
